Situated in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside, Dodford Manor has been a settlement dating back to Saxon times. It was more formally recorded in the Domesday 1086, book in was originally owned by William the Conqueror’s half-brother Robert, the Count of Mortain. Through the centuries it has been owned by a succession of knights (several buried in the adjoining Dodford Church) before changing to a farmer owned dwelling in more recent times!
